Our verdict
Seeking Alpha is an investment research platform built around articles from independent contributors, combined with its own Quant ratings, factor grades, screeners and market news. It offers a free Basic tier plus paid products: Premium, Alpha Picks, PRO and individual Investing Groups.
The breadth of the research library is the main draw — for almost any listed company you will find multiple bull and bear cases, earnings-call coverage and ten years of financials. The Quant ratings give a quick, data-driven second opinion that is easy to screen on.
The trade-offs: article quality varies by author, the paid tiers are billed annually, and subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current list price. Per its Terms of Use, fees are generally non-refundable once a paid period starts, so set a reminder before renewal. Prices checked on seekingalpha.com in October 2026 and may change.
